During this assignment Walter became deeply acquainted with Russian business culture and the challenges of doing business in Russia. A recurring theme among expat managers in Russia was the difficult search for reliable and qualified personnel. It was that question that led to opening the Moscow office for G-Nius.com in 2006. From that moment G-Nius.com has developed as a specialist in recruitment and payroll services for foreign companies (looking to become) active in Russia.

Over the last 15 years Walter has been supporting foreign businesses of many different sizes and from many different industries to start and develop their business in Russia. Currently G-Nius.com operates offices in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Besides recruitment, G-Nius.com also provides payroll, employer-of-record and accounting services.

Having had the opportunity to be actively involved in many international expansion projects, Walter has developed a deep understanding of the challenges of entering new markets. He has a passion for helping companies achieve success when venturing into new countries and markets.
